Cities
of Cadiz and Huela are ideal locations for the Ocean Motion International’s
Combined Energy System. The gulf of
Cadiz was chosen for a Master’s Thesis study where the ocean waves are in the
five feet range. Spain has the natural
resources, steel production and technical capability. Steel workers have proven abilities in the
off-shore oil rig manufacturing. The
cost of manpower is reasonable. The
need and desire for potable and agricultural water is strong there. |

Huela is a main shipping
port for copper ore and pyrites which are mined nearby. It is also a major fishing and tourist
center with a population estimated at 135,427. The
nearby Canary Islands are under Spanish rule.
They are two provinces with a population of 1,614,882. Tourism is very important to these
communities. They also have fishing
and farming as principal industries. The
inhabitants supplement their potable water rain collecting systems with osmosis
filtration which is powered by fossil fuel power plants. |
