41% of the population of 106 thousand do not have access to safe drinking water.  Group of 700 island and islets of which 40 are inhabited.  New Providence is economically the most important and has half the population and its capital Nassau is the world famous tourist center.  Tourism represents 50% of the gross national product.  Favorable tax laws have made it an international banking center.  Industrial activity includes the trans-shipment and refining of petroleum, production of steel pipe, pharmaceuticals, salt, rum and shellfish.  It is

located in the Atlantic, northeast of Cuba and southeast of Florida.  Nassau is the capital and chief port of the Commonwealth and a world famous tourist center.  With the population of more than 143 thousand, the need for fresh water is great.  Fossil fuel powered osmosis facilities are functioning there.  OMI wave powered systems would perform quite well there with the wave heights in the range of 3 to 4 feet.  Financing systems there could be a challenge.
